    Part One

In the time of Apocrypha in New Eden, brave space faring souls, both veteran and rookie alike, joined together to form a noble corporation. The corporation was bestowed the name of Knights of the Old Code, and its saintly virtues were known throughout the region. Within the corporation, virtuous knights united themselves to the common goal of promoting peace and prosperity in the humble solar system of Mirilene and its surrounding systems. Through a united effort, the Knights of the Old Code quickly grew into a prosperous and generous corporation opened to pilots from all walks of life.

Here in this corporation, five pilots found themselves forming lasting and unique friendships as they worked to improve their various piloting skills to benefit the corporation as a whole. Fenix Levi, with his strong ambitions and sound mind for reading the ever-changing market, Kai Lienchow, the avid explorer and efficient miner ever searching for elusive and rare minerals, Levrim Kervall, unsure of the future, but always trying to prepare for anything and everything, Ssnakebackss, an aspiring tycoon with a knack for making a profit no matter the situation or circumstance, and Captn Blackwater, a jack-of-all-trades and aspiring military strategist, found themselves quickly growing in their trades and achieving that certain sense of belonging among their fellow knights. They were faced with many obstacles which they all eventually overcame, but little did they know that a far greater threat was on the horizon.

    Part Two

No sooner had they become accustomed to the Apocrypha Era of New Eden, the knights soon found themselves in the new Era of Dominion. The Dominion Era of New Eden brought with it a new sense of conquest as veteran corporations and alliances began to move to the far reaches of lawless space to claim it for their own. As the more noble pilots began to make their homes in the bountiful regions of null-security space, the regions of high-security gradually became less safe for novices and veterans alike. From suicidal industrial ship raiders to war declarations of profit, high-security space was slowly becoming progressively more dangerous and less honorable.

No longer could pilots trust other pilots they met in high-security space. Paranoia and suspicion quickly spread throughout the region and corporations found themselves having to strenuously evaluate new recruits for fear of allowing spies and thieves into the corporation who might betray them later on. The Knights of the Old Code tried to counter this rising trend by opening up recruitment to any pilots, amateur and professional alike. For quite some time, the Knights of the Old Code flourished and many friendships were formed within its ranks. Unfortunately though, not even the knights would prove to be immune to war declarations of pride and greed.

    Part Three

In the course of approximately one month, the Knights of the Old Code found themselves the target of quite a few war declarations. Many brave and noble knights readied there ships and prepared themselves to defend the corporation assets no matter the cost. The pilots of the Knights of the Old Code performed great acts of courage, but sadly, this would not be enough to deter the multitude of assailants. Due to the continuous onslaught of the enemy corporations, many members of the Knights of the Old Code soon became discouraged and morale was at an all time low. In hopes of boosting morale and raising the spirits of the battle-weary knights, the five future founders of the Loose Associates Incorporated, Fenix Levi, Kai Lienchow, Captn Blackwater, Ssnakebackss, and Levrim Kervall, set out to find ways to combat the stresses of the war effort. Each of the five pilots made it their mission to be active in corporation operations and to be a continuous optimistic presence within the corporation no matter what the hour may have been.

Fenix Levi never haulted his trade routes due to his determination to continue funding the war effort even though he was constantly at danger during his routes. Kai Lienchow continuously engaged the enemy, even though he often found himself without support, and unceasingly sought the truth behind the war declarations. Levrim Kervall provided valuable intelligence reports on the positions of the enemy fleets, through use of his various contacts, and tried to locate powerful allies who might come to the aid of the knights. Ssnakebackss humbly exhausted his own funds in order to keep pilots in the battle and made it a point to boost morale whenever he could. Captn Blackwater made it his goal to be present in the various corporation operations and never hesitated to volunteer his support to the corporation fleet. Their heroic actions, along with the actions of other brave members within the corporation, renewed the spirits of the knights for a time, but the odds still proved to be greatly stacked against them.
